KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 24 — It’s been a good week for XG fans and dog lovers. What do they have in common?
They both got features from Apple but for very different campaigns.
Learning XG’s ‘New Dance’
Japanese girl group XG has been dropping pre-release tracks and music videos for its New DNA album that will be out September 27.
The latest song Last Dance not only has a music video but also saw the group, composed of Japanese members but who sing primarily in English, get a feature on Apple Music Up Next.
Apple Music Up Next is a monthly initiative that showcases rising talent and XG has been steadily rising since its debut in March 2022.
XG had an exclusive Up Next film that can be viewed from the Apple Music app as well as on YouTube, that gives fans a look at a glimpse of their daily lives in Tokyo.
They will also be in an interview with Apple Music’s Brooke Reese about their new song and upcoming mini-album.

Fuzzy Shot on iPhone feelings
3D printed prosthetics have made artificial limbs more accessible not just for humans but pets as well.
In a Shot on iPhone featurette, prosthetics maker 3DPets shows just how an iPhone makes creating artificial limbs for animals that need them an easier process.
Thanks to the LiDAR scanner and TrueDepth camera technology on iPhone, the process is made simpler with as little discomfort, stress or intrusion as possible.
Using the iPhone, 3DPets can use the pictures to make appropriate prosthetics on a wide host of animals, that include not just dogs but even turtles, ducks and other animals.
